REQUIREMENTS
• You must be participating in the TMIWW Sewing Contest.
• Students must be entering or in college in order to qualify
MORE DETAILED RULES
- Applicants must be participants in the Texas Make It With Wool Sewing Contest during the current contest year.
- Applicant must be a resident of the state of Texas.
- Scholarship recipients must be enrolled as full-time students at a Texas college, university, or technical school.
- Applicants must provide an official transcript including GPA from the last high school or college attended, and the completed application form. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
- Two scholarships will be awarded each contest year. The first-place recipient will receive a $500 scholarship, and the second-place recipient will receive a $250 scholarship. Scholarship funds will be paid directly to the recipient's account at the Texas college, university, or technical school in which the student is enrolled. Payment will be made upon receipt of proof of full-time enrollment for the academic year in which the scholarship is awarded.
- All funds must be utilized during the academic year for which the award is made.
- The Scholarship Committee has sole responsibility for selecting the scholarship recipient. All decisions of the Committee are final.
- The application deadline is the day of the event. Hard copies of the completed applications must be submitted at the TMIWW Sewing Contest registration.
