Sweater Contest

This competition is part of the National Make It with Wool contest so ALL contestants will be given the forms to enter to win at State and National levels. We want to see your style!

Producer to Artist

This competition is close to our hearts because it is the foundation for the Make It with Wool concept. It's quite simple. By connecting with a "producer" you are choosing natural fibers which can be presented in all forms of fiber arts. We are part of the soil to soil movement and natural fibers are a HUGE topic.

Why did you choose that wool/fiber? Do you have a connection to the farmer? Is it your farm? Will you knit, crochet, felt, weave or create a multimedia masterpiece?

Upcycle Recycle

We are asking our participants to think outside the box or dig in to one and find new ways to use wool sweaters, garments and accessories. As part of the soil to soil movement we love the idea of use and re-use. Before the era of fast fashion, sweaters were often upcycled to other useful needs until there wasn't enough yarn left to make a pair of socks! In a modern era we can showcase our interpretation of reuse in a number of ways. All we ask of you is .... CREATE!
